Every Brand Design journey begins with a coffee date, Skype call or email exchange to get to know one another. After the initial chat I will assign you a Brand Style Questionnaire to complete and a vision board to build. The Questionnaire gives me a better understanding of your business, goals and ideal client, while the vision board tells me what inspires you.
The Pinterest Vision Board gives me an insight into what inspires you and can be anything from colours, graphics or photos you’re drawn to; anything you think that fits the vibe of your brand.
I will also create a Vision Board of my ideas for the brand style. This is a tool I like to use to ensure that we’re heading in the right direction, and will feature in the first presentation of conceptual ideas. This helps narrow down the number of proofs we need to get the designs just right.
This is the exciting stage where I put together a presentation of the first design ideas. After spending some time immersing yourself in the concepts I will require constructive feedback wherein I will make revisions if necessary until the designs are just right.
These vary per project and depend on swift client-responses to emails and proofs etc. To make sure we stay on schedule, I kindly ask for feedback within 2-3 business days. Failure to do so may delay your project.
A bespoke website built in WORDPRESS where your new brand identity will be seamlessly integrated for a consistent Brand story.
Aside from it looking totally stylish, I will also ensure it’s functional, flows beautifully and is fully responsive across all devices.
FIRST STEPS
After a discussion about what your website needs and outlining a wireframe for optimum flow of information, I will design a unique, personalised site that compliments your brand design. Your site will be developed on the WordPress platform so you can update and change content yourself (after a 1:1 session with my web developer) once the build is complete.
DOMAIN NAME & HOSTING SERVICES
I ask that the Domain Name be purchased by you prior to development. I can recommend a great hosting package and support at an additional monthly cost. Please enquire for more details.
CONTENT
Please save content for every page to the shared Dropbox Folder prior to the design start date. This includes copy for all pages, photography (if you have any), documents etc. I must stress the importance of professional photography for your site where possible and all stock photography must be yours or Royalty Free.
Every touch point of your business represents your company, so it's important to create a seamless story with beautifully designed collateral as a continuation of your brand design. Paper makes me happy and I’m always on hand to provide advice or help source any of your printing requirements.
